A happy February 14th, one and all. Or should that be a happy record release day to you all?
Remember when the Motel was established almost four years ago? Well, one of our contributors, Hannah, served as deputy editor at the site's launch and was instrumental in getting us off the ground. She still writes for us from time to time (in fact, you will be able to read her words on the new Zoey van Goey album in the coming weeks), and now runs clubnight, fanzine and all-round indiepop behemoth Pull Yourself Together alongside another of our semi-regular contributors, Dan F.
Anyway, it's been a while since there was a Motel Village Noticeboard update, and two of our contributors releasing a record seems as good an excuse as any. The longplayer in question is by Christopher Eatough, a Manchester based singer-songwriter who has received positive praise on these here pages. It's called A Creak In The Cold, and marks PYT's first album release.
It's available digitally at iTunes and Amazon, via a selection of lovely independent record stores and at Christopher's own virtual shop here. How delightful!
