Download the Fugitive Motel Review of the Year 2009 here – plus list of ‘real world’ stockists

A belated Happy New Year from the Fugitive Motel. Here's hoping 2010 brings your eyes, ears and hearts great pleasure, peace, health and happiness.

Some of you will have doubtless noticed that this is the time of year upon which we unleash our one foray into print - the Fugitive Motel Review of the Year is here! Featuring profile interviews with the three bands we reckon you should be listening to right now - Broken Records, Run Toto Run and MAY68 - there's also a host of features, including a tip of the hat to the end of the last decade, as well as the return of Motelvision and a charming cartoon from Ceri and Tina - hopefully the first of many, even if Kate's 'scriptwriting' was a bit lame.

Click on Jools Holland's surprised face to read this year's Review. You will note you've been spared the garish panda bear with David Attenborough collage pieced together with Kate at 03.30 on deadline day, upon realising there was no back page. But if you really want to see it, you can pick a physical copy (numbered and strictly limited to 200) up here:
