Watch the video to “Grounds for Divorce” by Elbow

As is quite apparent from the name, lots of us here at the Good Ship Motel have our knickers in a twist about the impending new longplayer from Elbow, The Seldom Seen Kid. They previewed four new tracks from the album last night including the simply gorgeous The Bones Of You (a clip of which you can hear at the band's official website. Oh, and turn up your speakers and roll over the letters for some pleasant piano arpeggios).

According to 6Music this morning, the band have also just confirmed themselves for this year's Glastonbury Festival, perhaps prompting the biggest 180 degree U-turn in Eff Em editor Kate's history, and there's no other words to really add to this, aside from watch. And enjoy.

Grounds for Divorce is released on March 10th, 2008, with the album The Seldom Seen Kid following on March 17th. The band tour in April 2008 calling at Glasgow ABC (4), Newcastle Carling Academy (5), Leeds Metropolitan University (6), Oxford Carling Academy (formerly Zodiac, 8), Bristol Colston Hall (9), Birmingham Carling Academy (10), Sheffield Octogon (12), Manchester Academy 1 (13), Nottingham Rock City (14), London Brixton Academy (15), Vicar Street, Dublin (21) and the Mandela Hall, Belfast (22).
